Could improper cleaning lead to bumps?

Sounds like you may have bacterial vaginosis. It's pretty common, especially if you wear thong underwear or ones that are not 100% cotton because it keeps too much moisture in and without being able to take a shower at least every other day, the germs can really build up in, ahem, warm & moist places. If you haven't changed the type of soap you use or laundry detergent used, you should see your family doctor for testing and medicine. Until then you should use a wash rag to sort of sponge bath every day and make sure you're completely dry before putting cotton undies on.
