Heightened sense of smell while nursing?

Since I found out I was pregnant, my sense of smell has been top of the line.... to a fault. I can smell everything!! I figured this would go away after delivery but I can still smell everything. Lately the scent of my dogs is driving me nuts and I believe them to be filthy and disgusting. My husband is a firm believer that I am crazy and he cannot smell anything. In fact, my husband has a hard time believing that I smell anything and fells that I am just overreacting. Has this happened to anyone else? I am nursing still, does this have something to do with it? I need to know that someone else has had super powered nostrils after being pregnant and that I am not just dreaming this up.
