When my ball python poops it reeks got a question?

i use cypress mulch (forest floor by zoo med). sand isn't good for them...not sure what you mean by she shells if its sea shells no...even though a lot of people use newspaper the newsprint isn't really good for your snake and its an ugly bedding.
