Anyone agree with me on this?

3 years DOES make a difference development wise. teenagers brains ARE still developing, so generally, parents do know best. Compared to adults, teens are more immature. They just can't really see that at the time. Parent's arent perfect of course, but in order for the family to properly function, someone has still got to be the boss, have the final say. And understandably, that duty belongs to the parents who have been teens before and are in fact wiser.

Why is it so hard for you to believe that MCR actually has saved peoples' lives?

My parents fight a lot and MCR gets me through it. A lot of people turn to music in times of need, what makes MCR so different?

When people scream Bigotry?

I agree. It's the same with the racial issue...it seems the "bias dujour" is to attack the caucasion race because they did it to others - and its completely acceptible. I simply think that people need something to gripe about, to hate, to be annoyed by...it wouldn't matter if you were white/republican/straight/pentacost/rich or black/democrat/baptist/rich....the non-whites would be slamming you for being republican. The blacks would slam the black for being rich and calling him/her an "Uncle Tom". Everybodys gotta hate something and we never get anywhere *********.i.n.g about it.

Does anyone know the name of this book...?

... it's set in the future in a new world that has emerged after everything is destroyed. they don't have any record of history or culture. the book is written in the way that they would speak, in english but it's kind of fragmented. their is something about a punch and judy show, and there are 2 dogs whose names are folloree and folloroo - i read the book i while ago and can't remember who it was by or what it was called?

Has anyone in your life ever gone Elton John on you?

Not sure what you mean. Elton John as in the gay part or Elton John as in the singer part? If it's the singer part, then yes. The gay part...no.

Can someone please explain this quote from hemingway's a farewell to arms?

“You did not love the floor of a flat-car nor guns with canvas jackets and the smell of vaselined metal or a canvas that rain leaked through, although it is very fine under a canvas and pleasant with guns; but you loved someone else whom now you knew was not even pretended to be there.”

Can a COP go to my job to ask about me, because I was speeding and got away?

You failed to stop when requested to do so, thus causing suspicion that you may have a history of serious offending. He willl probably continue looking for you, just to ensure that you are not guilty of more than he had witnessed. Next time, just pull over and clear the issue, okay?
