How to find good friends? Please help?!?

I need new friends. The friend I have now who I thought was my best friend keeps ditching me every time I try to hang out with her (it's not something I did wrong, she's just being stupid). Anyways in the mean time I'm trying to find new friends. I've decided I want a trio. Two very good friends who will never stop talking to me. How I can find these friends? Please help? I'm getting lonely and depressed!
